It's A Mask, Not A Chin Strap

Nobody likes the mask mandate imposed upon us. Go into any area store, and while they may have the sign out front saying a mask must be worn, if more than 50% of the people inside – including employees – are wearing masks, it would be the first.

Volleyball games are no exception. While the mask mandate has been imposed upon every school in Illinois, seeing players wearing the mask like it were a chin strap is common – and you rarely see anybody say anything about it.

"We're not the mask police," one official said. "I've got to worry about lifts, illegal hits, playing out of rotation...
