There were a lot of 'lowlights', but the highlight of last week's Freeport City Council meeting were the promotions handed out to several officers. Sitting in on the Freeport City Council Meeting Tuesday night was a chore. In fact, roughly an hour into the meeting, the famous quote from the movie Billy Madison refused to leave my brain.
"At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
