Any Lena-Winslow football fan who is honest, will tell you that watching Panther games can be rather boring. Wondering at what point the running clock might get triggered is not what most avid football fans would call exciting.

But the IHSA semi-final on Saturday in Chicago against the Hope Eagles did not follow that pattern.

Let's be blunt, the Eagles were bigger, stronger, faster and overall better athletes. To be totally fair, Lena-Winslow was out-classed by them ... on paper.
