Trouble hit the Aquin Bulldogs in the early minutes of their opening game on the road in Orangeville when middle hitter, Ava Theisen, went down in a lump after turning an ankle.

Although it was a one point game at the time, the Bulldogs proceeded to fall apart in almost every phase of their game as hits went long, or into the net, passes suddenly went awry and sailing out of bounds, and even the region's top setter got called for a double hit – twice!
