Quick question, when was the last time the Eastland Cougars had a losing season.

Ever since the program began back in 1986, there have been two constants ... the sun will rise in the East, and Eastland will have a winning record in volleyball. Even in 2017, when the team finished 17-18-4, they went on to win the Regional title, so ... that one doesn’t count.

But it’s not a trick question, the 2022 Cougars ended their season at 17-18, falling to Sterling Newman in the Regional semi-finals. So, the correct answer - is last season - 2022.
