The rumors had been running wild for more than a month – athletes were leaving Aquin in droves. So much so, that there would be no High School sports this coming season, and next year the school – as a whole – would close!

So, we did some digging, and talked to Aquin School Board members and Superintendent Sue Heitkamp ... you know, people who might actually know the truth – and are eager to put the rumors to rest. There is absolutely NO truth to the rumor that Aquin could close next year. That point cannot be emphasized enough.
