Even before the IHSA Regional pairings came out, everyone knew there was a good chance that for the third time this season – the Galena Pirates would lock horns with River Ridge/Scales Mound. But it should have been in a Sectional.

Monday night in Galena, both teams punched their tickets in convincing fashion to set up the third battle royale – only this one will be in the Regional Championship.
