With 2:53 to play in the third quarter of the Regional Championship between Eastland and Galena, the Pirate's sophomore point guard, Addie Hefel, used a spin move to get past one defender, took an inside slant to get even with the post waiting to pick her up, then in an underhanded scoop move lofted the basketball underneath the outstretched arm of the post and watched as it kissed off the glass and fell through for two points as the whistle blew calling a foul on the post who tried to hip check but was caught in the act.
