Fall sports are rapidly approaching, and the one fact I can present that I doubt anybody would even think about challenging, is that football in this region of Illinois is taken pretty seriously. We've got the reigning 1A state champion in Lena-Winslow, and if you wanted to do the research – guess how many years you would have to go back to find a season in which nobody from the NUIC claimed a state title?
