The Eastland Cougars had been hoping they would get one more chance at the Dakota Indians, while Dakota was finally back at full strength after having to sit through some Covid quarantines that left them missing three starters from the floor when they fell to Aquin. So both teams came into Tuesday nights battle in Dakota with something to prove.
Dakota made it clear from the very beginning that they were going to make their case for being the best team in the region with a dominating 25-16, 25-16 sweep over a Cougar team that seemed incapable of getting out of its' own way.
