Jack Setterstrom celebrates his nine yard touchdown run that capped the impressive Panther drive that put them in front for good.

There are displays of power football, and then there is the performance turned in by the Lena-Winslow Panthers Friday night in Lena against a very strong and talented Galena Pirate squad.

Galena came in as the eighth ranked team in 1A, and threw a dagger early when Ethan Hefel dropped back on the very first play of the game and launched a deep pass down the far sideline to Khalid Newton. The pass was a tad short, but Newton reached back, hauled it in, and still beat the Panther secondary for the 80 yard touchdown.

The extra point kick made it a 7-0 Pirate lead with only 13 seconds gone....
