McConnell American Legion
The McConnell American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1225 decided in September that we needed to do a project for active military men and women and decided that putting together gift boxes was the best idea.
Posters were made and ads were put in local papers to let the public know what items were needed and when they were supposed to be dropped off at the McConnell American Legion Post.
There was an outpouring of generosity throughout the area that was remarkable. People came with donations and some gave money to help us purchase ite...
