the Winslow Park Board has made several improvements that all too often go unrecognized.
The Winslow Township Park District quietly celebrated 50 years. The president recently listed for the board accomplishments for the year 2020. Most of us think that not much could be accomplished in this year with Covid, but we were pleasantly surprised by the following:
New playground equipment was installed next to the lower shelter house area. (12 Le-Win students assisted getting volunteer hours credits)
New swings for babies were installed
The old playground equipment was removed and the old concrete horse-shoe pits were removed.
