The Galena Lady Pirates blew past the competition at the NUIC Girls Tournament held at Lake Carroll last week as they finished an impressive 25 strokes ahead of second place Polo.

In golf, a team must have four competitors complete the 18 hole course to earn a team score. They may have as many as six, but a minimum of four is needed for a team score. The lowest four scores are added together in order to obtain a team score. The point being – depth is the biggest factor.
