Beware Of Unemployment Scam

Scammers are at it again. The Senior Resource Center has been notified that northwest Illinois residents have been receiving debit cards in the mail for unemployment benefits for which they never applied. If you received one of these cards, do not activate it or spend any money on the card. Your identity may have been compromised or stolen, according to Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) officials.
