Trone Wins Spelling Bee

The 38th Annual Regional Spelling Bee was held at the Pearl City school small gym at 7:00pm on February 18th. There were 24 participants representing the 1st and 2nd place winners from area schools.

Evan Trone, a 7th grader from the Warren School district, won first place. Ella Gunderson, an 8th grader from the Eastland School District, was 2nd place.

In Round #11, Evan spelled "cherubic" correctly. Ella went on to misspell "adulation". Evan then correctly spell "elaborative" to win the Regional Bee.
