Bourne Supremacy

Considering who won our NCAA Tournament pool, I couldn’t resist using this headline.

We had a record number of participants this year – 102 in all – and when all of the sheets were tabulated and scored, William Bourne of Freeport won top honors and the $100 cash prize. He had UCONN beating Purdue in the final, as many did, and only had two of the Final Four correct – also as many did. But where he edged out his competition was in the round of Elite Eight where he had five of them right.
