Christmas came early this year for the Scales Mound High School Trap Team, when State Senator Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) surprised the students and coaches on December 5 with a $500 scholarship to help support the program. The scholarship was made available by the Illinois Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus.
