River Ridge FFA Food Drive

The River Ridge FFA Chapter hosted a non-perishable food drive in the weeks before Thanksgiving. The elementary, junior high, and high school students were all invited to donate food items as well as paper products. Members of the officer team collected the items in several different locations. The elementary classes had a competition to see which grade could donate the most. The 3rd graders earned an ice cream sundae treat for being the class with the most donations! The FFA Chapter was happy to donate 468 pounds of needed items to the Elizabeth Food Basket....
