The Scales Mound Hornets boy's basketball program, Scales Mound High School, and the Scales Mound community are proud to announce that boy's basketball head coach, Erik Kudronowicz, has received the prestigious Basketball Coach of the Year Award for boys basketball from the IHSA for the 2022-2023 season.

This award is given to one coach throughout the four different divisions and more than 800 IHSA member schools. Coach Kudronowicz is the IHSA Coach of the Year award recipient for the 2022-2023 season in which he led the Scales Mound Hornets back to the 2023 Illinois State Tourname...
