Blackhawks Turn One Over

The effort certainly was there and the game never got out of hand, but the five turnovers by the Stockton Blackhawks eventually doomed their chances Friday night as they fell short 22-8 against the Forreston Cardinals.

The loss dampened homecoming night for the Blackhawks but they certainly could have been celebrating too if they had managed to hang on to the football in key situations. Moving the ball wasn't a problem as Tanner Gile and Karl Hubb both had good rushing nights, but every time in the first half the Blackhawks approached the shadow of the end zone, the turnover bug bit...
