In recent years, Scales Mound students have had the opportunity to travel internationally to Costa Rica, Ireland, and Germany, with Scotland and England on the docket for 2024. To expand travel opportunities, domestic trips have started in odd-numbered years. June 5-12, sixteen Scales Mound FFA members took advantage of a student travel trip to see parts of Alaska, joining chaperones Lisa Oellerich, Samantha Hendren and Sue Withington.
