Orangeville Incident

On June 17th, at approximately 6:21 am, Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to a residence in the 1100 block of W. Rock Grove Road in rural Orangeville for a subject to be removed. Upon arrival, a deputy made contact with a female who reported that a 28-year-old male acquaintance from Monroe, Wisconsin, was in her residence and needed to be removed. The responding deputy subsequently made contact with the male suspect, who then threatened to instigate a lethal-force encounter if law enforcement entered the residence.
