River Ridge FFA Hosts "Ag Day"

The River Ridge FFA Chapter hosted its annual Ag Day for the elementary students on April 28th at the high school. Students in Pre-K through 5th grade were invited to attend the event which promotes and educates the students about different areas of the agriculture industry.

There were five different student-led stations this year. FFA members gave short presentations on topics such as horses, beekeeping, fishing and apple production at one of the stations. Other stations included soil education and planting a flower, relay races, hoppy horse races, ice cream and a petting zoo....
