Area Round Up

Dan Stevens

The Panthers ran wild on the bases in then first meeting, but gave up four runs on miscues at home plate in the rematch.

Warren/Stockton 7

Fulton 6

Fulton jumped out to the early 3-0 lead, but a big four run fourth inning put the Warhawks in front at 5-3. From there, Jacob Harbach came on and pitched well in relief to hold on and get the victory – thanks in large part to a pair of amazing catches by Will Stietz and Colby Tucker to help the Warhawks claim the sweep and climb back into the race in the West.

The winning run came in the bottom of the seventh when Harbach drew a walk, and was driven in on an RBI walk off single by Reed McNutt.
