Freeport is planning an Arbor Day celebration for elementary students. On Friday, April, 28th. This collaborative celebration is sponsored by the City of Freeport and Freeport Park District. On Friday, April 28, 2023, representatives from the City of Freeport and Freeport Park District will gather with local elementary school students to commemorate Arbor Day and celebrate Freeport’s Tree City designation.
