While the White House and Congress were not on the line, there were still some very important elections held last week. Results of the contested races from our coverage area are listed below. If it was a simple ‘vote for one’ situation, there is no number in parenthesis next to the office the candidates were running for. However, in many cases the top two, three or four candidates won – in which case, the number in parenthesis next to the office is how many of the people listed below it (in vote recipient order) were elected.
