It was supposed to be a post-season preview as RR/SM and their ace, Maddux Knauer, paid a visit to Lanark to take on Eastland and their ace, Max McCullough. Unfortunately, the Wildcat defense didn't make the trip. The Wildcats made six errors in the first inning alone, accounting for five Eastland runs. And ended up with nine errors in the game as they gave one away on the road.
