Decorate An Ornament For The Hero Tree

Downtown Freeport will be bright for the holidays with a show of festive spirit and humble recognition for our local heroes. The Hero Tree will stand majestically in front of the bell tower at the Stephenson County Courthouse for all to see from Sunday, November 20 through the new year.

To make the tree truly represent Stephenson County heroes, we need your help! We are inviting any Stephenson County resident to create a Hero Ornament to be hung on the tree for this holiday season.
