The Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation (JDCF) will host an early evening event at the Wapello Land & Water Reserve on Thursday, September 8 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Monarch butterflies are flying through Jo Daviess county right now on their way to a forest in the mountains of Mexico. Take a tour of the prairie to learn about the native plants that provide a nectar source for monarchs on their journey.
