A back and forth ball game was tied at 2-2 going into the bottom of the sixth inning when the Wolves got the key hits they needed to score two runs and take control.

Perdue threw an excellent game for Pearl City, he allowed only one earned run on nine hits, while striking out five and only walking one. Both teams traded solo homeruns ad Nathan Brinkmeier blasted one for Pearl City and Kellen Henze drilled one of his own for the Cougars.
