Embracing the underdog role and on their home court, the Eastland Lady Cougars roared into the regional championship game after an impressive 50-39 win over Morrison Tuesday night in Lanark.

Eastland showed no fear of the favorite Fillies and their obvious height advantage thanks to Camryn and Shelby Veltrop. The Lady Cougars played an aggressive style both on offense and defense which caused Morrison all kinds of trouble throughout the game.
