Accident With Injuries

On January 14 at approximately 3:11 pm, the Jo Daviess County dispatch center was notified of a single vehicle traffic crash with injuries on US Route 20 West approximately 2/10 of a mile west of North Sand Ridge Road in East Dubuque.

Upon arrival, Deputies learned that a blue 2003 Toyota Sienna minivan was being operated eastbound on US Route 20 by Charlene A. Scharpf, 66 of Galena. While negotiating a curve in the roadway, Scharpf lost control of her van due to snow on the roadway.
