Homecoming Pride Falls Just Short

The saying is football is a game of inches and never was it more true than in Pearl City Friday night in a thriller of a game that needed two overtimes to decide a winner.

In the end, another EPC Wildcatz game was decided on the final play of the night and again the Wildcatz came up just short of earning their first victory of the season as the visiting Galena Pirates escaped with a 41-40 victory and they knew it. In fact, one Galena coach walking off the field was overheard saying about EPC, "That's the best 0-6 team I've ever seen."
