The Aquin Bulldogs responded to their first loss in a long time with a strong effort Saturday as they defeated the visiting West Central Heat 42-0 in Freeport.

The Bulldogs scored on their first six possessions on offense to put the game away early as the defense held strong and posted the shutout as well. The Heat got the ball first and, in a sign of things to come, on the first play the snap sailed high above quarterback Devin Shaw's head and resulted in a 23-yard loss.
