The Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help in obtaining information regarding the disappearance and death of Laura A. Kowal of Galena, IL.

Laura A. Kowal, 57, was reported missing/endangered on Friday, August 7, 2020 and was last seen at about noon on that day near her residence outside of Galena, IL.

Her vehicle, a 2016 white Honda pilot, was recovered from Warsaw, IL on August 9, 2020 and her body was recovered that same day from the Mississippi River near Canton, MO.
