Next Stop State

The Boys Track Sectionals were held last Friday in Winnebago, but unlike previous years where the IHSA had set cut off marks that determined whether or not an athlete qualified for State, the 2021 results did not include that in the posting. The point being, that there might be more area State qualifiers than what are listed here. All we could do was report the area conference athletes who finished in the top three in their respective events.

Regardless of that, Forreston dominated the individual events, while Lena-Winslow’s 4x800 relay team also claimed top honors.
