Competing for your local school is one thing, but just like volleyball, basketball and other sports, there is also the opportunity to compete at the club level in softball. Most people are familiar with the Freeport Crush, but arguably the most successful club softball team in the region is the Freeport Thunder Styx.

The Thunder Styx 16U team is composed of local high school girls. Over the past three years they have won two National Championship tournaments and also finished second twice. This past season they just completed ended with a final record of 35-2, and culminated with a second...
