East Dubuque Varsity Girls Basketball coach, Scott Schaber, resigned his position last week. He is stepping down after three years with the program in order to follow his son’s athletic careers as they enter High School.

Schaber had previously coached the Galena Boy’s program, and was well known throughout the NUIC. During his three years at East Dubuque he won the conference title in 2018 – the first for the program in 25 years – and also claimed a Regional crown the same season, which was only the second in school history.
