All of the talk going into the Softball Sectional Championship game revolved around South Beloit's pitching ace, Trinity Mesch. After all, the senior had shut out Dakota 1-0 in the Regional championship, then did the same with another 1-0 win over East Dubuque in the Sectional semi-finals.
