On Monday, State Representative Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) presented a check for $1,000 to the Scales Mound High School Trap Team on behalf of the Illinois Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus.
"The Scales Mound High School Trap Team is very appreciative of Rep. Chesney and the Illinois Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus for the financial assistance," said the founder of the Trap Team and assistant coach Linda Ziarko. "We will use the funds to purchase equipment that will enhance the Trap Team program for the students."
