When news broke out that Eastland would be hosting a Super Sectional in Volleyball, and that both Pecatonica and Forreston were hosting Sectionals, excitement built over who might be sent where as it appeared that Northwest Illinois would be holding its’ own tournament to see who was going to state.

But then we went and looked at the bracket and assignments.

Yes, Forreston and Pecatonica are both hosting a Sectional, but they are on opposite sides of the bracket, so the only way the winners could meet would be in the State Finals.
