Blackhawks Bounce Back

Coaches throughout the NUIC knew that Stockton was stronger than what they had shown in their opening contest against Forreston, and they proved it Friday night with a solid 26-6 victory over the EPC Wildcatz in Pearl City.

The first half was a defensive slugfest as neither team was mounting anything resembling a scoring drive. EPC got close when they moved the ball down to the Stockton five with a first and goal, but they moved backwards on the next three plays and ended up turning the ball over on downs.
