Last week my wife and I took a trip to Nashville, Tennessee to visit our daughter and son-in-law. It used to be when we traveled, we hit the pavement with the tires squealing and we didn’t slow down until we got there. That meant not stopping along the way unless we absolutely had to. It still is that way in a sense, but not quite as intense. I hate to say it, but one of our goals is to not buy gas in Illinois. I know this hurts the border town gas stations but it’s a lot more economical to drive across the border to gas up - especially if you’re saving fifty cents a gallon or more. L...
