The staff of sworn officers always seems to be at a bare minimum level leaving the command staff constantly searching for new faces to hire in order to help boost the ranks. Never before have police departments had to resort to crafting TV commercials and flood social media with "we're hiring" promotional ads, but that's the situation they find themselves in these days.
