Both the Galena Pirates and Aquin Bulldogs came into their Regional semi-final with the same plan – save your ace pitcher to take on Lena-Winslow in the championship. But that meant that they both had to dig down into their pitching depth to try and knock each other off. For Galena, that meant Joe Heller, and for Aquin, they turned to Cade Geiken.
