Accident With Injuries

At about 11:40 am on 5/11/22. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single motorcycle crash with injuries on Ferry Landing Road about a mile southwest of West Cross Road in rural Galena.

Investigating deputies discovered that Louis T. Clark, 24 of Galena, the driver of the motorcycle, was traveling northeast on Ferry Landing Road when Clark drove too close to the shoulder of the roadway, lost control in some loose gravel, and drove off the roadway into a ditch where the motorcycle overturned. Clark was then thrown from the motorcycle.
