Legitimate Primary Election In June

Primary election season in Stephenson County usually is just a formality and more often than not lacking in any excitement or drama as candidates go through the motions to get to the main event in November.

That all changed this year as there are no less than five contested races awaiting voters when they head to the polling places on June 28. In fact, one race in particular will see five people square off trying to win seats on the County Board to represent District G.
