It had been a long time coming, 25 years in fact, but Thursday night in Orangeville the Lady Broncos blew past Pecatonica 46-28 in a physical contest to claim the NUIC North crown by themselves. The win was also their 27th on the season, which is a new school record for wins ... and they still have the Regionals ahead.

Orangeville held a small lead at 8-2 after the first quarter, but in the second period they put on a clinic.
