Traffic Fatality

On 01/08/22 at approximately 3:21 am, Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to S. Pleasant Hill Rd., approximately ½ mile south of Jenny Ln. for a single vehicle rollover accident.

While en route, Deputies were informed two passengers had been ejected from the vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies discovered CPR was in progress on one passenger and they began CPR on the second passenger.

Elizabeth EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the first two passengers, Wyatt Potter, 21 of Hanover, and Rhett Geisz, 21 of Elizabeth, deceased at the scene....
